Chłopcy na http://www.strategyfirst.com/forum/show ... hp?t=43734 wydali kolejną kompilację moda BFX, który został przechrzczony na Blue Sun, mod zawiera:

- Unofficial Patch w wersji 1.02 która lokalizuje grę na angielski, poprzednio był to Unofficial Patch 0.98EN.
- Udogodnienie w postaci: Armored Cars Mod, która lekko dopancerza wozy.
- Poprawkę umiejscowienia wozów w sektorach: Carplaces fix.

New Way by Legionnaire=M=
There is a taxi driver in Puerto Viejo that can drive you to Olvega. There you'll get a chance to buy a fake border pass.

MercConsultant.v.1.1
Talk to the Merc consultant in Puerto Viejo and for 1000 Eldos you can order a merc to spawn at the entry point, no need to run around looking for your favourite merc anymore.

Outsourced Config
Open your 7.62\ini\outsourcedconfig.ini file to alter some hard-coded game settings. These include merc prices, reset random quests and collateral damage.

Changes:
- New mine settings made by Legionnaire
- New aim and UI icons made by Deadhead
- Added transparent window textures made by Deadhead
- Increased the number of enemies in random encounters.
- Player Chars (presets) aren't tourists on vacation anymore, but real mercs on duty...
- All Mercs can now carry more weight.
- Hireable Mercs are now specialized in various classes (Snipers, Medic, Scouts...).
- A new mercenary for hire and a few free ones.
- Revamped inventories.
- Fixed a few bugs. Well, a lot actually.

How to install:
Make sure you have a clean install of 7.62 High caliber. Install the mod files in your \7.62 - High Calibre\ root directory.

If you have a computer close to the minimum requirements and experience a lot of lagging when fighting in cities, open the Autoexec file in your 7.62 folder and delete all lines there. It should make the game run better but it also makes the AI dumber.

Po kilku CGL muszę przyznać, że dodatek jest bardzo niestabilny, być może przez questy które wprowadza. Często wywala do pulpitu, raz zaliczyłem 6x z rzędu - aż zajrzałem do folderu logów o co się tak gierca rzuca: no i podczas grania, engine wypakowywuje sobie pliki z .azp, które niszczą orginalne (w sumie wykryłem to tylko dlatego, że po instalce wpakowałem wszystko w pliki .azp i mało co zostało w folderach gry).

Podsumowując, grało się nawet fajnie (dzięki nowemu asortymentowi), ale któryś z questów popsuł zabawę (chyba odzyskanie skradzionego złota dla przemytników w porcie) i... kapituluje, ehh :/

Blue Sun 1.0 wyszedł poza fazę testów (od kwietnia) i mamy finalną wersję 1.01 Release Version (1.11 build 286 [UK]), ale tym razem patch osobno (1.06) - mod go tym razem nie integruje.

Z tego co widzę to doszło +4 NPC, +3 nowe bronie, +5 nowa amunicja.

BS 1.01 RV wyszedł równolegle w specjalnej wersji, bo pojawiła się możliwość rozwoju podstawowych cech naszego najmity. Do tej pory można było rozwijać tylko staty cech zawodowych, tj. strzelanie, rzucanie, itd., teraz również te podstawowe, tj. maskowanie, zasięg widzenia, liczba HP czy inteligencja. Nazywa się to Class System i puki co to wersja testowa, 5 beta (ach ta fantazaja R@S'a z numeracją... :P):

CS wprowadza specjalizację najmity:

Trooper (REA, DEX, SHT, GFT, STR)
Sniper (EYE, SNP, CAM, AGT, DEX)
Sapper (SAP, DEX, HWP, INT, REA)
Scout (EYE, HRN, CAM, STH, AGT)
Medic (MED, HP, EN, STM, INT)

którą można wybrać i rozwijać cechy powiązane w Kill Book'u w inwentory przedmiotów questowych (po pierwszych 20 ofiarach czyli już na CGL 1), ale... coś za coś bo CS obniża staty początkowe gracza.

CS 5 beta jest w sumie Blue Sun'em więc jego instalacja na końcu (nadpisać pliki po wrzuceniu BSa), tyle że z CS'a NIE kopiujemy pliku '\Quests\E1P\e6q.modinfo' o ile używamy MercConsultant lub OutsourcedConfig (bo konfig CS'a jest źle napisany).


Kolejność instalacji:
- 7.62 HC
- Zawartość Patch 1.06 wrzucić do folderu gry i potraktować 'PatchMe.bat', utworzy się 'Patch_1_12.azp'
- Zawartość Blue Sun 1.01 RV wrzucić do folderu gry

- Zmienić '\Quests\E1P\e6q.modinfo' i '\INI\vfs.ini' tak jak wyżej

No i trzeba grać od nowa...

What's new?

The "work for yourself" campaign is now working as it should. By doing the Cop missions, Billy-Bob and finally Tang missions you'll advance the CGL's.

11 new missions, all given by Tang. I also fixed the corrupt save issue with the two previous Tang missions.

The new Class System is now integrated.

Once you start taking over sectors for Tang you'll get a Field Radio, it allows you to call cities under your control and set up their defenses from a distance.

A few new settings in the OutsourcedConfig.ini


How to install:

1: Install 7.62 in a new folder, like C:\games\7.62\. Do not intstall the game in your Program Files or User folder, that will cause problems with vista/win7

2: Extract the Unofficial Patch to a temporary folder, then copy those files to your game directory. Make sure the PatchMe.bat and azp.exe are copied, sometimes they'll get stopped by anti-virus progs. If they do, add them to the exception list and copy them again.

3: Run the PatchMe.bat and watch the command prompt pack the files. If you get any error messages, make a note of them. It might be useful if you need help problem solving later.

4: Extract all the files from Media.pack_pt_1.rar, Media.pack_pt_2.rar and Media.pack_pt_3.rar to your 7.62\Media.pack\ folder.

5: Extract the Blue Sun Mod Base files to a temporary folder, then copy them to your game directory. Make sure all files makes it, the Eexe file might get caught in your anti-virus. If it does, add it to your exception list.

6: Start a new game.

Dla wygody wszystkich możemy to wrzucić do naszego downloadu, jednak potrzebuję najpierw kilku informacji, bo sam nie jestem za bardzo zorientowany nawet w czystym 7.62 :)
Jak rozumiem, Unofficial Patch nie uległ jakiejkolwiek zmianie, bo wersja nadal ta sama?
Mapki do czego służą? Są wymagane przez BSM (poprzednia wersja tego nie miała), czy nie (niby w instrukcji instalacji o tym piszą.. ale...)?
