Trying to run the Urban Chaos beta v4.6x ENG but i get this error. :|

JA2 Fatal Error

Please can you fix this error? I really wanna play this version!!!

Hello. We checked this twice end everything is working fine. Look at the pictures.

Your error was caused by wrong installation. The game does not see many of the necessary files.

Installation should go as below:
1.) Install original JA2
2.) Copy everything from folder JA2 1.13 Urban Chaos BETA ENG and paste it over the original version of JA2,
3.) Launch the game using JA2.exe

It has to work. If not, then let us know.

These red notifications while starting the game are not the errors or bugs. Everything here is fine and you can normally play the game.

The game has huge amount of options, which are based on TRUE or FALSE and they all must have one of the value - TRUE or FALSE.

In your case, all listed options were not assigned to be TRUE or FALSE. That's why the game automatically assigned the proper value (TRUE or FALSE) and informed you about it while starting the game.
" ... file ... is neither TRUE nor FALSE. The value FALSE will be used."

If you want you can find every of these options in INI Editor and manually give them value TRUE or FALSE, but this is sensless because the game automatically is doing that for you every time while you launching the game.

Hey im also trying to run the game on my second pc which is windows 7 and it does not start.
Its trying to open and then crashes instantly.

Note: My 1st pc is windows 11 and the game is running perfectly fine!

If it still won't work, then click right mouse button on the JA2.exe file and choose "Properties" and then change option like at the picture below.

It worked thanks man!

I also have a few questions.

1st. There was a bug on the official and stable update 7609 and that is when i put some stuff inside backpacks and every backpack had another backpack with items inside everything was fine until one day, all the items inside the backpacks were gone when i passed the backpacks to a stronger merc or when i took the backpacks and placed them to their position.

2nd. In urban chaos 7609 tony wasn't accepting several weapons and stuff he used to accept and that was quite annoying man.

Are these fixed? Thanks for your time!!!

Sorry, no idea. Difference between 7609 and BETA version is so huge, that nobody will know, what happened with all kinds of such bugs.
